Size: 4x6, 5x7, and 6x8
Initials/Personalization: Several options to personalize your leather journal! Letters (upper/lower), name, date, numbers, or basic symbols (& . - ? , ! " ' $) We stamp each character in by hand by applying heat and pressure to metal pieces for a beautiful impression in the leather. The variation in color that the stamping produces makes each personalized leather good truly unique and meaningful.
Leather Color Choice: Rustic Brown, Dark Brown, Saddle Tan, Black, or Rustic Gray
4 - 48 page notebooks (192 pages total, counting front and back)
Leather: the leather will get better and better over time the more it's handled--this is authentic cowhide leather, and part of the natural beauty and appeal is the slight variation from journal to journal
Wrap Closure: traditional leather strap that wraps around the journal to hold it closed
Our custom leather journals are handmade in the U.S.A.
The leather on the outside is pretty nice, but the inside looks more like a binder than a notebook. The several paper notebooks inside have branded, rigid cardboard covers, and the paper smudges like nothing else. In the future I will likely go somewhere else to purchase the refills. The elastic used to insert the replaceable notebook ruins the natural look of the leather to some extent, and the middle signature has a large knot in the elastic with long ends that are unsightly. Fine with another, cheaper product, but with the price, I would expect some of these rougher edges to be ironed out.
Overall product is not bad and the smell of the leather is wonderful, but the notebook was not exactly what I expected.

I purchased a "cheery misshap" journal for my niece for Christmas. I expected to see some kind of misshap, but didn't see any. The best part of the journal is the smell of real leather. I LOVE it!

My order just arrived yesterday and it was a few days later than expected.. but everything was packaged beautifully and initials on my three orders correct! Bonus was each order came in a very fun special cloth bag with Ox and Pine logo and pull string. My recipients will be thrilled !!
