Initials/Personalization: Several options to personalize your leather journal! Letters (upper/lower), name, date, numbers, or basic symbols (& . - ? , ! " ' $) We stamp each character in by hand by applying heat and pressure to metal pieces for a beautiful impression in the leather. The variation in color that the stamping produces makes each personalized leather good truly unique and meaningful.

This was the perfect fit for my wife, she's recently started journaling and this was quite an upgrade over her spiral bound notebooks. The paper quality shouldn't be overlooked here, these journals come with really nice quality writing paper. As far as the "mishap" part goes, it's hardly noticeable and I mean that literally, I had to stare at it for a good few minutes before I noticed that the leather shape was slightly off.
