Beautiful leather, great stitch work but the paper is low quality.
Paper Texture is slick. Pen smears as paper is low absorbent. Feels and looks like a cheap filler and an after thought.
If they changed the paper you wouldn't need to search any further for another journal..
Maybe you can have speciality paper as an add on instead.

The journal and customization options are fantastic quality, I got it embossed as a gift and love the way it came out. My only complaint is that the gift wrap option is really just a poorly folded paper bag that I had to remove before gifting because it did not look good. Save yourself $5 and wrap it yourself or use the cloth bag it comes in.
The team did great with custom service and the product was a tremendous hit with the clients. We will do it again.
